Senior Audit Associate | Senior, 3 Years Experience - Kuala Lumpur

Requirements:

• • You will play a vital role in assisting with the planning, execution, and completion of audits for our clients, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of their financial statements.

Responsibilities:

• • Assist senior and engagement partners in planning and conducting audits in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and Malaysian Auditing Practices (MAS).
• • Perform analytical procedures, test of controls, and substantive procedures to assess the completeness and accuracy of financial statements.
• • Prepare comprehensive working papers, schedules, and memoranda to document audit findings and support the audit opinion.
• • Identify and communicate potential risks and control weaknesses within client organizations.
• • Collaborate effectively with clients, engagement teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.
• • Stay updated on the latest accounting standards, regulations, and industry developments.
• • Assist with the review and finalization of audit reports, ensuring adherence to reporting standards and deadlines.
• • Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills.
• • May provide training and guidance to junior staff members.

Qualifications:

• • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent).
• • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Senior Audit Associate or equivalent role within a reputable audit firm in Kuala Lumpur.
• • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
• • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• • Knowledge of audit software (e.g., ACL, Caseware) is a strong plus.
• • Strong commitment to accuracy, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
• • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
